Introduction to Digital Techniques in Urban Design
Amitabha Choudhury
Amitabha Choudhury has over 25 years of professional urban design experience in Australia, the Asia Pacific and South Asia in both private and public sector roles. This includes master plans for new cities, urban renewal projects, residential master plans, transport terminals and transit-oriented development strategies, as well as development control plans, urban design studies and site-specific development controls.

Amitabha’s urban design interests lie in place based urban design and the formulation of qualitative design controls. He is involved in teaching at the University of New South Wales, Sydney as the course coordinator of the Urban and Regional Design course (BEIL6002) offered as interdisciplinary learning.
