Introduction to Digital Techniques in Urban Design
PG Smit
PG Smit is an accomplished Landscape Architect, Urban Designer, and Strategist with over 13 years of experience in sustainable urban development and resilience planning. He holds a master’s in urban design from Harvard University and has extensive international experience, including work in North America, East Asia, the Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East.
Much of his work has been in developing countries working with local governments and multinational agencies to develop spatial resilience strategies and solutions to prepare for future development, population growth, and climate change.
As a Landscape Architect, his focus has been on public open space, using design to generate economic value and improve quality of life. As an Urban Designer, he has focused on strategy, solving complex social and ecological problems, contingency planning, resilience, generating & optimizing systems, NMT, master planning, and real estate development.
