Piyush Prajapati is a young award-winning architect and a computational urban designer working with AECOM as Senior Urban Designer.
Born in India, he graduated from the Government College of Architecture, Lucknow, India (2014). He was awarded the Best Architectural Thesis Project in India by the Council of Architecture in 2015. He, later on, went on to pursue a Master in Machine Learning Urbanism from Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, London, where he holds the Computational Award for his research and is a Medallist (2019).
He holds felicitations by the President of India and many other international podiums. He is also an Advisory Member of IJMAR (International Journal for Multidisciplinary Research). His design research is currently running in an Exhibition at Pompidou Centre, Paris, under the theme of Simulated Intelligence: Neurons. He has been shortlisted in Architecture Leaders Award, 2021 and nominated by the Middle East Architect (MEA) community as the young architect of the year 2021.
He holds expertise in Artificial intelligence and its role in design and architecture. He focuses on unifying digital tools such as machine learning, Big data, and digital humanities into the architectural world thereby harnessing the best design outputs.
